I just hear that parts are booming...just gotta hit areas where things are happening. Would do cali but homes there would be too exspensive to start off with.

as far as austin goes, theres some great real estate on the northside going towards plugerville, it isnt as highly populated yet so prices are still somewhat cheap, withint the next 5 years i wouldnt be suprised if housing prices almost double up there.

Yeah its something I love to do, and maybe eventually make a living at or start a business. I've learned a lot of things with my major, and hands on too. And gotsta hire the mexicans to work for ya:laugh:

Not sure if I will work a few years after graduating to get some good cash.

Figure atleast start with 30k in the bank and loan the rest and sell asap. Once ya get a few sold, things should go better. I've looked into this for a few years. Just gettin my degree for a backup plan and for the knowledge.

I wont be doin it for about 2 1/2 years...The thing is that I can buy the house for cheap now, and that should continue for a few years.

no but since property values rise, you sell when there is a demand, and fix somethings up during the time....if you are smart money is good and can be had
