I personaly hate people who own those trucks just for the hell of it. but i have alot of respect for people who actually use the trucks for mountain climing and stuff. Cuse that shit is crazy

that jeep is my gf's dads, that is actually her hanging out the side of it. and that is my old truck, which i recently sold. the jeep pic i took in september and that is the rubicon trail. this is the one i was in that weekend. i was taking this pic as well.

these are 5ft tall boulders. look at the size of them compared to 39.5" tires.

Like i stated I personally dont like it, and there are people who agree with me, I think it's a good setup but the rattling makes it sound like crap. It seems to me that if u can spend that much money on the whole setup (paint, rims, speakers, w/e) than u can at least get some sound deadening so it wont sound like 100 tin cans rattling against each other. It is my opinion.

I wouldnt do that crap, lol. Mad props tho, it just seems like so much money can be lost so easily (if u flipped or soemthing) hell people can even get badly hurt.

People everywhere have different opinions. On ECR.com everybody is saying that system is tight as hell, but on here everybody hates it because of the rattles. It's just people on here know more about car audio than the average joe on the street so of course some will have problems with his sysyem, but to me it is nutz.

so whats the purpose of lowriders? show cars? 10sets of highs?

ppl who do big rim cars try to get attention from their 'crowd' and they 'stunt' along with that. yea that means swerving, driving with doors up, stopping in middle of road with a bunch of other cars and clowing etc etc. it has a purpose to them.

i completely understand the big truck thing, its not my favorite but i still look at them in awe when i see them during spring break.

ok, let me clarify. lifted trucks have a purpose in the world we all live in. POS' from the 80's with 22"+ rims on them serve a purpose to those who dont live in this world. they live off in a world all by themselves so they dont count.

the green one has flipped pretty hard, turned it back over and started it up, went ahead and drove on through the trail. my gf's dads, the yellow/white one has been on its side, the only damage was the cracked windshield which is still in it btw. the only real damage you do to those is cosmetic. if you have already stepped up and spent the money on the right gear then you wont ever break it if you treat it right. the green one isnt pretty and it doesnt have much invested at all compared to others, and yet it was the gnarliest ride on the trail. the yellow one is the other way around, very pretty for a crawler and extremely capable, but he chooses not to wheel it as hard as he can.

ya i know, I'm talking more like the people who get really into it. The ones that climb 80 degrees uphills up to like 1,500 feet. Imagine being on the top of that than just fliping backwards, more than just cosmetic.
