i have a friend with a caprice and 2 crappy 12s and his trunk rattles incredibly. mostly cuz his license plate is one of the fold down gas tank things....and he loves the rattle.

1 day i pulled his license plate bak to stop rattle and hes like hell na put it bak i luv that.

its all preference.

and if you think rattling makes it stupid just because you dont like it, then you my friend have issues.

It's one thing to annoy others with bass...but to annoy them with the sound of a Tin can is assanine. On top of that you arent hearing the music.... THE POINT OF HAVIGN A STEREO IS TO LISTEN TO MUSIC. It looks to me as if the speakers are completely sealed off from the cabbin which means that he will hardly be hearing bass...only buzzing. People who do that have issues. It's called attention issues. They get less respect from me than thoes who do nothing but bass out all of the time. I'm all for big bass but one should bump responsibly and should enjoy the music, not the biproducts of a poor install.

that thing could have 12 layers on it, fact of the matter is.....those trunks have WEAK steel. Not to mention, steel is very weak when its that thin, and that large of a flat area.

That isnt my point. 4 12's in a box that doesnt take up the entire trunk and isnt sealed from the listening area would be louder and more musical instead of just a buz rattle.

Maybe some of you guys missed this point, but that sure looks like a SHOW car to me, not a SQ car. He wants attention. Rattles = noise = attention. And I'm sure the bass is plenty for the normal, non-audio enthusiast. So he probably accomplished his mission. Hence the screen in the truck too.

Sure the rattling sucks and is annoying, but I really doubt he cares on a show car where he wants to show off the flex.

alot of big wheeled cars tuck, those personally are the ones i like more, i dont like the sky high lifts-- only on a few cars--

the money they put in their cars can easily be put into a crx or tahoe and have walls of subs like anyone on this site. but no, they rather have complete cars w/ motors, paint, interior, rims, and a little bit of subs.
