i tried this but the tire is rusted on. one would think to get some penetrating oil, and a crow bar and hammer, but i must consult ca.com before i do thistake a lug wrench and loosen the nuts.. take the rim off.. put on spare.. re-tighten lugs in a star pattern and carry flat to a tire shop tomorrow..lol
if it was a honda, it could've ran over spike strips without getting a flat. **** these american carsif thats the case, your screwed, looks like a new car is in the near future for you
why use a crowbar instead of..oh, i dunno, a lug wrench?i tried this but the tire is rusted on. one would think to get some penetrating oil, and a crow bar and hammer, but i must consult ca.com before i do this
uh, the lug nuts are off. from age and not taking the wheel off, the wheel is rusted on.why use a crowbar instead of..oh, i dunno, a lug wrench?
You can either use a hammer while the car is jacked up (put a 2x4 against the wheel and use a sledge on the 2x4 so you don't mar the wheels), or keep the lugnuts on but loose and drive around a little bit.i tried this but the tire is rusted on. one would think to get some penetrating oil, and a crow bar and hammer, but i must consult ca.com before i do this
