Flat Cone PPI's

I have two of the 10" pro flat pistons in my wife's car right now. They want more power still, but they are clean, tight and snappy. Enough punch for daily and sq listening on 700 watts each right now. I know for a fact they like from 1000-1200 watts rms. I might be adding another Jbl 1200.1 to them, but not sure as my new Ultra 10's are coming soon. My ADS R10s subs were louder and just as clean though. Wish we hadn't separated the leads. Oh, well.

yea, I can get parts to recone pretty much any sub or speaker....

PM me and I'll see what I can do for you... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I still have a pair of the old Pro's around here. Like said above, nice subs for their day.

"The flat piston diaphragm, constructed of rigid dense foam composite, avoids the distortion and buckling effects induced in typical cone woofers."

Im saddened to see PPI still trying to spout that bullshit. Their flat cones are some of the best looking cones ever made imo, but they simply do not have the performance benefits claimed. A conical 'cone' has better strength to weight characterisitcs, no sense trying to get around basic geometry.
