as a joke i want to sail two giant pirate flags in the bed of my truck, they will be attached to poles, my question is, is it legal to have two 5'x3' flags flapping around downt he interstate and will the polyester hold up to 75mph driving

Well, to tell you the truth, i see it here in kentcky with rebel flags all the time. I think it is legal as long as they dont cause a hazard to other drivers... i.e. blocking view, but they never get stopped for it here.

The real question is whether or not the mount is going to take that strain...you'd be really surprised at how much force is exerted at highway speeds.

its legal here...and i think it should...a taxi company here has flags on all of there cars...and taxis here do 75mph when cruising

yeah i was thinking about the mount too, but we are some resourcful kids and we will figure something out, thanks for the help guys, if ur gunna be in or around gulf shores the 5,6,7 of aug you might see me and two giant pirate flags and the word GOD writting in big letters on the back windsheild then HATES on the car behind me and the word YOU on the car behind that one...haha we are a fun group

kid i work with has 2 big *** american flags on the 2 corners by the tailgate, they hold up fine
