Flabby sounding

Right now I have my 15" BTL in a 5ish cube box at 33hz. When songs have a lower note then 33 I bleieve, it starts to sound all flabby and shitty. Why is this?

means there isnt enough pressure in the box being built to keep the cone in control, meaning it will oscillate violently and not make next to no sound.

any ported enclosure should be just fine until about 1/2 octave below tuning so if you are having these issues right below tuning then there are likely other issues at hand. I dont know about that particular sub but possible too large of an enclosure for the sound you seem to desire. Take some time and run some est tones through it to determine exactly where you are havcing this problem
