Fix a blown 13w7?

My friend blew his 13w7 and bought another one. He says I can have the blown one for $10 if I want it. Is it worth fixing it?

Well I want it if it's fixable... I just want to know how I would go about doing it, and how much it would cost. But I'll keep you in mind lol

i doubt jl does a re-cone, if they do, its probably more expensive that buying a new one. and i doubt anyone else will fix it since jl has patents on their subs. so, id say 10$ is not worth it for an un-fixable sub, unless you reallllly want it.

Honestly what's $10? I say take the chance and if no one will do a recone and/or it's more expensive than buying a new one then big whoop, you're out $10.

its not worth getting fixed if its more than cosmetic damage to the sub

but for 10 bucks you could find something cool to do with it

ill put it this way... its SLIGHTLY cheaper than MSRP, which is three times more than you can get one for on egay
