Hit a 139.8 is the any good?

I have 2 12'' Type R's in a ported box with a 1500 watt Clarion amp. Problem is I only had an 80 amp fuse and it kept blowing so I know I could of done better. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

The amp has no built in fuse but it came with a 1/0 ga fuse holder with a 200 amp fuse. I only have 4 ga power wire would it hurt anything if I used the 200 amp fuse holder meant for 1/0 ga wire? I plan to get metered one more time to see what I can really hit.

Throw a 150 in there and see how it does. 139 is nothin to laugh at for sure.

150 or that 200 amp fuse will be good for that amount of current that the amp will draw. no it wont hurt anything but u gonna want to make sure the wire will not come back out. crank that fvcker down and leave the plastic shielding in there too. just so it wont have anything to arc out on.

Is a respectable score, but I did 141.2 on the TL with 2 R's in a sealed box at 1.75 each and 1000rms LanZar class A/B amp that was a current hog! Should have more out of it if it is ported, but is it a ported prefab or a custom one?

Just because you have an inline 200amp fuse , doesn't mean you are pulling 200amps or anywhere close to 200amps. Like said above, Your 200amp fuse is fine, just make sure your 4g is tightly secured to the 1/0 terminal or else you run into more serious problems. Your score isn't bad but improvement can be done depending your vehicle, install, and electrical upgrades...
