First time caller, long time listener

I have an amp sub speaker combo that I just installed into my 2017 Tundra 1794.
The Amp is getting power, but the sub makes no sound with music. I’m using high level input for the first time.
If I turn up the gain, the sub rumbles and doesn’t stop until the amp is powered off or the gain turned down.
Any and all help is appreciated.
