Congress has not declared a state of War or any drawing of arms against an innocent population of any Country. It is unclear what Country is responsible for 9/11(sadly, the evidence points to our own). There is no sanctioned War on Terror. This is all smoke and mirrors fostered by Corporate sponsorship. It is no wonder that the primary cause of death in the U.S. Armed Forces in 2012 is due to self-inflicted *******.

Don't forget we pay taxes too, quackhead. And social security. Not really a handout...

They don't sacrifice going through boot camp.....they eat better than most there and get free personal trainers to keep fit. And they get paid to do it......
Now after a tour or two...then yes. Boot camp....no.

Out of basic you proved you can do PT and say "Yes Drill Sgt!!".. As it was explained to me, and as I clearly see many years later in the service, you can BARELY called a fresh grad a "soldier".. they are only at 10% and still have to be molded the rest of the way.
