Well, I dont know anything about systems but most of my friends do. Anyway.. one of my older friends works at a car auido shop. And I told him I wanna spend around $1,300 on the system. And this is what he priced out for me

Alpine CDA-7893 Cd player $315.00

Alpine Sps-1329s 5 1/4 2-way 120w speaker $65.00

Alpine Sps-1629s 6.5 Coax Balanced Dome Tweetter $75.00

Alpine MRV-F357 30x4 AND 100W 5CH Amp $360.00

ANd labor is $200.00

Total = 1,311.95

u need a more powerful amp than 30x4 and 100x1 for those swr alpines. u need atleast a 800 watt 2 channel or a 600 watt mono amp with 4 guage.

Why is your FRIEND charging you for labor? It's a decent deal if you can get your other friends to help you put it in, or get that friend to cut out the labor. I got free parts and labor at the local shop, and I don't even know the guy. It's just good business. I'm not a big alpine speaker fan, so I would go with something else, but that's just me. And you do need a bigger amp for those subs, much bigger. I'm only running two 10" subs and I have a 1000watt amp hooked up to them. Alpine makes some really good stuff! You do need a more powerful amp. You can find JBL 1200.1 amps on ebay really cheap. If you have the money upgrade to the type R subs. Other wise your system looks good.
