with current coil his takes 1k, with altered soft parts 1500-1700 is easy. most of splaudio's 8s can do 1500. I'd say that neo proto 8 with it's current cooling and one of a kind basket is hard to beat. Besides it being a huge neo.

I'm more an SQ guy came over from lurking on diyma for a year or two. Yea it's a pretty rare woofer' date=' i've talked to the designer of it several times about it. I don't run them in singles, but I just built a 4th order for 4 of them and it's doing 147's @ 34hz from my trunk. SA8's are nasty.

What are the specs for that 4th order? Great output down low for some 8's.
