What has been the first song you play after getting a new piece of stereo equipment?

Or is it just a totally random song or whatever you feel like playing?

For me, it's been something different every time. Usually something from the newest CD out, or just a song that I like that comes to mind at the time. But when I got my new mids, of course I played something appropriate to test them out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It's usually different, but I love playing Hotel California (Live Version) when I put new stuff in... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

It all depends on what you put in i guess, I put in a techno song to test my new door speakers when i got them. When i get my sub it would have to be tupacs song"cant' see me" not really for bass but its a great song to play loud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I play the radio.... mainly b/c my dad's always around and he don't like my cd's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

for clarity testing anything by stanley clarke or dire straits (esp. Brothers In Arms)...for bass i use sublime because ive listened to their music for so long

I usually go for Eagles - "Hotel California" then some SRV - "Little Wing" and I am going to have to second some Santana, some good bass in some of that Audioslave has some tight bass in it also that I like to run a new component through

For me It's always whatever is in the cd player at the moment. (a burnt cd probably) Anything that lets me jam out is always fine with me. My subs played over 300 hours of music - then plus for TV and video games. I'm suprised it still plays. I turn that sucker up loud sometimes...

For me it depends on what I'm installing. For subs/new box its alawys something that goes real low, so mayble Little John or Tech nine. Anything else I'll try to get soemthing that covers the spectrum, so Linkin Park probably.
