First post--question about Pioneer sub

Hi everybody. I've got a question about the Pioneer premier tsw3004spl. I've got an MTX 1501D amp and I'm thinking about getting the 3004. I've heard some people saying that pioneer sucks (on other forums) but I was doing some research on here and from what I've read on here they sound like they're pretty good subs. I found a seller on ebay that is selling a brand new one for $113. Pioneer's website lists it for 250 so i figure its a good deal.

So would this sub be good with my amp? And is it really a good sub or should I get something else? Sorry for being a noob.

2 tsw3kspl's and that mtx would be magical...give each one about 2 cubes, tune to low 30's, and you'll go deaf...for the money, its extremely hard to beat...
