First Kerfed Port Build For Boston G5 12

This is my first attempt at a kerfed port. Its 2 cubic feet tuned to 33hz for my friends new boston g5. let me know what you think and any constructive critism is welcome.

Thats all i got for right now. Should have the final assembley done tomorrow and it should be wraped by wednsday.

How deep do you cut into the MDF? and how far did you space each cut from eachother? I know each build is different and it depends on how sharp of a bend, but I'm looking to try that sometime and looking for a ballpark range so I don't waste too much //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

SPY has a great tutorial i found after i had already built this. I just kinda guessed and did some practice on scrap wood, but i spaced mine about .5 inch apart and almost all the way through the wood.

haha, maybe find some high gloss stain? idk I've seen it on mdf and it looks actually decent, bt you did paint it already.

atleast a clear coat to the edge then carpet from the 90degree flat and on.

That might look really nice if the carpets lines are perfect.

yeah ill have to use a straight edge to do the cuts and a sharp blade.
