First eBay dispute.....

after many years using eBay successfully I got screwed this time.

Bought a NEW product as described in the description, and when it arrived, it was packaged so poorly, the product inside was beat up. Along with the poor initial packaging, psrts are missing and even the original factory packing is not there..

Sorry some pictures ****, but I was in a hurry and in a fit of rage while taking them.

Anyhoo, to the meaning of this thread. Buyer says to return the speakers and after I do (at my cost) he will refund my money minus shipping. I told him he will refund my money (buy them off me, with his $24.99 shipping charge) AND add shipping cost back to him and I will gladly put them in the same box and ship them back.

Reasonable?? I have already filed a complaint with Paypal, however cannot do anything with eBay until 10 days after the auction completion date.

Through paypal, they will request that he refund your money and shipping and with what you have there, you'll win the case. Just make sure you get everything in on time with paypal.

Paypal will tell you to return the items to him, and then they will refund you your initial total (item cost + shipping). You will pay a little bit of money shipping back to him though.

yah, I have already filed a dispute with Paypal. He has responded, and is offering me some cash back to make it a decent deal, but we will see of the seller comes through. If not, then it will be escalated into a claim. eBay, I can't do anything until 10 days after auction end.
