First car audio setup.

Thanks for the input. Oh and to the guy that mentioned the wall of 15's, I'm thinking my car would explode considering it's slightly bigger than a golf cart. So from checkin' out the rest of the forums, it sounds like a lot of people are really into the SA brand. My plan right now is to grab a 400w mono amp for a sub. Most likely an 8 or 10 in a sealed box. Perhaps a 400w 4channel for my speakers? Not sure exactly how many watts would be sufficient for them.

Single 8 would be just fine, there's some good ones out there. I think that Sundown has a smaller 8 out too that'd be ideal. SSA Shop - Sundown Audio E8 sub woofer there we go. If it's anything like the other Sundown products, 400w would be fine on it. You could PM Sundownz on here or email them directly to confirm.

I'd say 75x4 would be a solid amp for you on your current speakers. And if I were you, I'd get an amp that makes that 400w of power, at 2ohms. So when you upgrade, you can lower it down to 1ohm for more power. Just keep an eye out for ~400w RMS @ 2 ohm.

That could be a good choice then, and just be a tad conservative with the gains.
