First Bassrace coming up, Any Tips?

I just built a new box for my 15''SX, 2.9 @ 43. i was reading up on some of the rules, just wanted to get some things cleared up. it was recommended to use a store bought cd, wondering if i can use a burned cd? also young jeezy - hypnotize seems to have my loudest note, does anyone know what frequency that song peaks at? it doesnt hold that note for very long i was going to try and find a new song with a longer tone. i was reading that every second for 30 seconds you get metered and it averages them all together, so its good to start off and stay consistently loud for the whole 30 seconds?

get a real cd not burned and you I'd play airforces its consistent and is about 41hz which is a us under the hypnotize note u speak of.

Also you should have practiced prior

i tryed air forces it didnt seem to be as loud as the peak note on hypnotize

your going to want to practice when you get the chance, if they offer it at the show. both your start volume and timing is whats going to help you.

just as a guess by your tuning you should try bass mechanic or push that n ig g a.

and also i take it thats its good to go in the class under you, example itd prob be best for me to do the 130-139.9 class, pretty sure i can break 140

make sure you read the rest of the post you quoted.

thats why i post the songs that i've checked the frequency on.

you don't want to be playing before set not matter what. your running a huge risk of redlighting.. which is a stupid way to end your day.

i shoot for having my system play the instant after set comes up.
