KENWOOD KAC-7204 which i sold for $75 this cranked up 2 T1's, i had to upgrade to brutus 1700 since the kenwood is not a monoblock

This is a great topic, not sure how I missed it. Before I became wise in the ways of A/B ZED, I was all RF. In 1991 I thought a Rockford Fosgate Punch 150 was the end all be all. I still think it was a great amp. I miss the days when amps were just power and nothing else. Don't miss the dollar paid per watt though.

^^^^. I hated the one i had..... Always got hot n shut off, shop took it back tho. Now the 225SHO was a B E A S T!!! Lol

Thats one amp i wish i could get back and and have more time with... It got stolen only 3months-ish of use!!! :-(.

1st amp I fell in love with, I still own. Since 1996.

Orion HCCA 225 3rd gen.

Then i fell in love with a 2nd Gen 250.

Then i fell in love with a 2nd Gen 2100.

Still love em. Even tho the 250 and 2100 are both smoked.

Got it for 50 bucks from a spoiled 16 year old. Found out 2 days ago that an old friend still has it in a storage locker. I thought he'd sold it after we got in a fight and quit talking for a couple years... but, he didn't, and he's getting it out for me asap. I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet, but it's going to be nice to be reunited with that one piece of equipment I always loved, never forgot about, and always talked about when conversations about nice amps came up....

I really fell in love with the rf punch power 500.2 chrome amps from back in the day. I used many other amps but those were some of the first i truly "loved" at the time.

After that though the list because massively huge lol.
