My first two loves were a Hifonics Zeus and a Linear Power 5002. I didn't get to run either one of them because one of my drug addict relatives stole them and subsequently pawned them off. I worked my @ss off for that Hifonics Zeus in 1990, or so, by helping a neighbor build his barn! He paid me with the amp in lieu of cash and I was fine with that!
As a result, I settled for the Rockford Fosgate Punch 150s prior to the HD line along with the Orion 250 SX and 275 SX. In 2008 or 2009, I got back into collecting old school gear, mainly Linear Power, and learned a very valuable lesson. I should have either stuck with Rockford Fosgate and Orion OR gone to McIntosh and Zapco if I wanted to get all nostalgic and what not! Oh well, one has to make mistakes to learn from them.
