Firing up vs firing rear in a trunk?

Hey guys. I have a SSA ZCON 15 running about 2.5k in a 4.7 cuft box tuned to 32hz sub up port rear. It gets louder and lower than any other system I've heard in my area, but do you guys think I'd get better sound making a box very similar in dimensions sub and port facing the rear? This is in a 06 Buick sedan. seats don't fold down and I don't have many problems with rattling except for a bolt I couldn't get tight when I put lock nuts and bolts to hold my rear deck speakers in place. No significantly annoying rattles other than that

I'm pretty sure you will come out better port/sub rear firing in a trunk. I've tried a bunch of different ways and besides sealed it off and front firing, firing to the rear has always sounded better and gotten louder. We could sit here and tell you all day what we think would be louder, but the only way to know for sure is to try it and see.

Thanks for the input. To the garage I go:fro:
