Firewall grommet

I have a 95 Accord EX coupe and I could use some help with finding a good grommet to fit my 1/0 wire through. I have found a couple I believe, but they are a little difficult to access. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you can't find a spot, you may have to make a hole and put a grommet there yourself to put your wire through.

Most hardware stores have rubber grommets. But if not, I know grainger.com does.

a PCV grommet might be big enough for 1/0. i personally have some by Streetwires

I created my own hole on the pass side above the carpet below the heater box. If you do this method drill EXACTLY where I did or slightly higher so it is accessible on the outside.

This is what I just did on my wifes 95 accord. Keep in mind I ran 1/0 and 4 gauge through that and to create the hole I made 2 over lapping holes with a unibit. It's fugly but it works I cut up a JL dustcap and created the shield around the cable and I with either go in with a little bit of great stuff or some Rope caulk to seal out the air/moisture
