the floor and sides were originally covered in vinyl. which for some reason melted and got really sloppy. so I redid it in carpet. its also less noisy

Hey I might have to use some vinyl to hide my **** up....what kind did you get that melted so I can avoid that?

I hope it wasn't Whisper vinyl. I just bought 3 yards of it. Stuff is just like soft leather.

It's normally $14.99/yd at Joanns if you have one near you. I get 40% OFF coupons in the mail so that brought it down to $9/yd. The stuff feels just like soft leather and has a nice stretch to it so it's easy to work with. It's not a shiny vinyl...it has a matte look.

I'll attach it with 3M 90 adhesive spray.

its actually pretty spot on for a min enclosure volume. also with heavy fill.

it was some old stuff from my old job.

you would be fine, mine got abused with the enclosure going in/out during building. then it got some weird goo on it. then the heat. so yeah.

Looks awesome man! Wish I could stitch like that! Everything in my truck would have been leather or vinyl wrapped if I knew how. I know how to paint so it was cheaper for me to do that than cover. My next one will be a combo of paint/leather though.

Love the finished wrap. The stitching adds a lot of class.

The build in that link is dead sexy. Looks like the stuff was meant to be there.
