Finding ideal enclosure volume w/ Fs, Qts, Vas etc ??

Ok, I thought the sub would have a recommended volume for a sealed enclosure... NOPE. I have some books but they don't help. These are the specs in the manual:

Fs = 27Hz

Qts = 0.30

Vas = 3.2 Ft^2

Qes = 0.32

Qms = 5.0

Sd = 490cm^2

I don't know what any of this means. My book says:

fob = Fs/Qts ... so Fob = 90

Vof = Vas * Qts^2 ... so Vof = .288

The manual then says to always make sure you make the enclosure 10% larger than required. Vof = 0.317? Woofer internal volume = .19 Ft^2

So... 0.507 is the volume needed?

The manual keeps using ft^2 (feet squared). Isn't it ft^3 (feet cubed)?

Download winisd from http://www.linearteam.dk, then input these parameters. It'll do the math for you, so you don't have to be concerned with the extra figures.

Thanks for the tip! I just downloaded winisd, plugged the numbers in, and presto.
