IMO a Q 15" mounted inverted would look sick in a trunk.

oh man that would look sexy actually, just do the box in the wheel well and mount the Q inverted on top, it'd **** your trunk space and limit what you can shove in there, but it'd be sexy.

Plus, do you have the depth in your spare tire well to mount a sub normally? (motor in box)

well i'd LOVE to but we have a 6 month old and travel to grandma's whom is 260 miles away... So it cant be. I gotta flush mount this and have the stock carpet inlay that you can remove lay over that.

Just make sure when you're finishing the coverings that the cone/surround have enough clearance

Just make sure when you're finishing the coverings that the cone/surround have enough clearance

yeah you gonna have to leave a bit of space between the sub and the carpet / covering to prevent the surround / cone from hitting anything. So really you probably won't be able to get a 15 sealed in there cause after wood displacement and sub displacement you won't have too much space left //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

You should start looking into a high quality 12" IMO.

oh haha, that can get a bit complex though. You'd have to build somewhat of a false floor / platform kinda thing. It will probably be time consuming, but if done correctly would be a sexy install.

BTW you do not seal a 9515 it would be pointless. It is a spl sub.

I allrdy have the wood panel that conforms to my trunk made out of mdf for a mold... so if you have MDF thats an inch thick I have more space than 2.33

2.33 is enough for 2 10's sealed... The question is if the opening is large enough to fit the subs.

Do you think lifting the floor up 4 inches all around the wheel well and adding to the airspace that way would work also?
