the ava has been proven to be able to take 1600rms in sealed boxes.

they underrate their subs by quite a bit.

as long as you arent putting it in a ginormious box, 800~1200w will suffice.

Wondering why the 18's were $100 more than the 15's though. Seems steep when alot of other companies chanrge like $25-50 difference between the two sizes.

I think ur talking about the same I guy I saw with that video. Im sure he mentioned that his gains were very low.

This is sad, I can't upgrade from my 12" 187s to a 15" Avalanche because the 15 won't take as much power. =\
Are you SURE they aren't underrated by a ratio of 2 or 3? :hopeful:

just turn down the gain. if you don't NEED the power, don't use it
