Heh I don't know where to start umm.. whoa man this sub pounds for a cute little 8.
It has an un-believable amount of sound quality. Sounds waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
better and LOUDER than my two 8" Optimus Pro Series subwoofers.
And I made a video of the sub=

I wanted to hear how the sub works with different types of beats and basslines so I played a lot of songs. The sub doesn't shake the whole car but it vibrates the whole car. I'll get another video of the car vibrating later on... When I roll down my two windows when I play the sub in the driveway the windows of the house rattle a little.. Bass sounds just as loud in the car when I start to walk away from the car because I heard bass frequencys can travel a h*11 alot far.
Okay enough of the interview.. I gotta tell you guys this one. I can be un-intelligent sometimes because when I installed my amplifier in the car, I decided to put the amplifier behind the passenger seat so I thought to myself "Fine, That looks like a great way to put it so when I park I can just slide the amplifier under the seat when I park so that some people will not know I have sounds in my car". Here's the Amplifier Install Kit I got for my birthday couple days ago =
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif $80 at radio shack and the wires can connect an Amplifier up to 500watts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Dang, the power wire is huge yet to see the 3guage wires. And the 60amp fuse is the biggest fuse I seen in my life //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif , lol I guess im too used to seeing christmas light fuses.
I ran the power wire through the firewall because luckily I found a rubber gromment behind the cars battery so that I don't have to drill a hole //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and after I put the power wire through the inside of the car I connected it to the amplifier. I have a 60amp gold plated fuse. The power wire to the fuse is real short (5in.) Is that okay to have it that short?.
I found the remote wire so I connected that to the Amplifier.
Connected the ground wire to the belt buckle bolt behind the passenger seat. heh amazingly the Amplifier worked because it was rusty metal,
Connected the RCAs, Speaker wires to the sub(8ohm load). So I turned the car on and my HU couldn't go on so I was worried so I went to the battery, Disconnected the negative battery wire and re-wired every thing all over again, connected the negative wire back, started up the car.. HU still wont turn on.. So I did the something again and finally I found out the problem................ you guys ready? heh, I forgot that my HU has a power button so I pushed the FNC button and the HU turned on. DUH! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wallbash.gif.1310150c49dd52e0fbe1813a0681e5c3.gif Oh my god I gotta be mentally retarded to forget to push the power button //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif. So yeah, HU turns on and then the HU turns on the Amplifier. The amplifiers fan is faintly soft. I thought it would be loud as my PS2 fan.. Im suprised lol. After playing music I had another problem, There was no bass comming from the sub so I had to remove the d*mn negative wire again and I decided to take out the fuse from the positive battery terminal power wire and as soon as I was about to take the fuse out, the shorter end of the power wire dropped right on the negative battery cable and all of a sudden I hear (SHHHH) sparks flew on my finger but I had to move the power wire away from the Negative battery terminal so I did and I burned my finger a little. I yelled out loud (ou you mother!....). sigh, so I brang out the HU for the sixth time and I had the RCAs connected to the wrong place so I connected then to the Violet RCAs from the HU and then finally the sub worked. So I turned the car on and set the bass on the HU halfway, Subwoofer volume to +6, Treble all the way up, Fader to front speakers because the back factory speakers sounds like a cardboard box punching bag. and I currently have the gains all the way up, freq to 250 so I can get all the bass frequencys from the subs.
but whew, I had some awful a lot of lessons on what you should do and what should you not do when installing an Amplifier //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif. First time installing an amplifier.. lol, Took me all day long. 12:00a.m to 5:00p.m
Well, I hope you guys enjoy the video and tell me how you guys like it. So any suggestions on what songs should I play on the next video?
