it's a nice budget setup for what she wants. why's everyone hating on it? not all people want brain-rattling bass. some ppl just want to drown out road noise a tad or just add a little "oomph" to the audio system. i say GO MOM for wanting some bump in the trunk.

A kole amp would work good too, but it would take away from both being PA. I used to run a power acoustik amp and they're definitely pretty good for the $ but from what I hear kole has a lower failure rate.

On a sidenote, my cousin's taking a pyle for $30 more than I would give him my kole for but the pyle has twice the rms?

Which, I'm told, is what they do the majority of testing on hence the lower failure rate. Not sure if that part is true but I do know my kole is better than the power acoustik I had.

My mom freaks out when I do installs in my own vehicle...couldn't imagine what would happen if I ran power wires and drilled in her car. Although, I did put some alpine type-s speaks in her Truck when I took them out of mine. Of course, I never told her until it was done.
