i finally got my 12 cvx which i wired at 1 ohm to my 1200d mono amp..... i was wondering how i should break it in and for how long? i also have it in a ported box... small but temporary until i build my own...... anyway how many watts can i feed it once its broken in? all 1200? or does it take less in a port?

No break in needed. Just be easy on the setting of the gain and it should work out fine.

are u sure because i busted my other subs i think because i started bumpin em nasty right when i got em... how far should i put the gains? about 3/4 up or what?

you blew the subs because you sent them a clipped signal.

dont do the same to these.. if you cant easily tell when they start to distort, then go get a DMM or o-scope. (actually you should do it that way anyways)
