finally got around to hooking up the home stereo...

...after 3 months of planning and researching, it is complete and sounds amazing, especially for a "budget" (~$1500) setup. still need to get surround speakers whenever i move into a room big enough to put them somewhere. pictures:

right main speaker and ghetto electronic organization until i can get an A/V stand. notice the refrigerator trays used as "swivel mounts" for the receiver and DVR box. awesome.

Nice setup but I feel sorry for that lil DVD player on the bottom I am sure that is quite a bit of weight on there... My AVR 3000 would cause a collapse if i stacked it like that...lol

I live in the Village, and the DVD player will be moved from the bottom tomorrow when I get around to it. Some vibration material would be nice....I already broke a neighbor's glass when it rattled off the counter-top while I was testing things out. They weren't happy.
