Finally getting around to buying some Peel and Seal

Yup, i finally have the money, lol. Infact, i have enough money for an in-dash screen, deadener, v3, new speakers, glass resin, the whole shebbang.

anyways, i would like to know the difference between the Aluminum 36"x33.5' and the Smooth Black Sanded 36"x67'

This Q mainly goes out to req since he has the most xp with peel and seal.

I believe its referring to the backing material on the adhesive (not the stuff you peel, but the stuff that will be showing when it is applied). Now that I think about it, that doesnt really make sense, you get twice as much of the black sanded stuff than the aluminum for less money.

You can get rolls of 6" by 25 feet from lowes for 13.00. I just bought 2 of them last night.

If you have the money, why not get better deadener? Peel and Seal will stink your car up for quite a while.....

Thats odd, because Peel and Seal will definitely stink up your car. I used peel and seal before, and edead currently......no problem with the edead, but its a pretty well known fact that peel and seal will stink for quite a while.........

but yeah, PnS and eDead smell like hell and a half.

my friends car still smells like ***, 2 months after install.

my edead stuck good for about a month, but now wont stick for shit. I think if you take your time and do a good install, you wont have a problem having it fall off. i did a shitty job, and was in hurry.

my peel and seal didnt smell at all.

buy better deadener. i just had to re-do my PnS with Damp pro from SS. what a difference.

Some people dont have a smell, some do....... maybe its just batch variation, interesting......

honestly, youll end up spending more on PnS to get the same results. TRUST ME, been there, done that
