I finally finished my system, I found a guy on craigslist selling his 06ZX1000.1, got it for 200$, didn't have the box or bass remote knob, but we hooked it up on the spot, works great, isn't damaged, or nothing.
But yeah, I also bought 2 seperate 12" woofer enclosures off him for $20. (They came with 2 12" type E subs, but my friend bought those for $30, he was sellin them both with box for $50).
It looks a little weird seeing 2 seperate boxes in my trunk, but god, I'm glad I was finally able to hook these D6's up, I've had them since the beginning of July, they just sat in my room for the longest time, but now they're bumpin in my trunk.
I have a couple quick questions though...
You guys think I got a decent deal?
How should I tune the amp? Should I turn the HU up to the max I'd ever listen at and set the gain on the amp to = no clipping/distortion?
Third question, should I do the big three? I havent' messed with any of the electronics yet.
