Ok, first of all, thanks to all of you folks who most graciously helped me out. Thanks.

Second of all, this is a finale look at what I am going to get for my 2001 4x2 Tacoma Truck, let me know if you have better suggestions or any other comments. Thanks.

Head Unit:

Pioneer DEH-P440 ($158.00)

Amplifier:

US Acoustics USX-2100 ($129.95)

Speakers:

Kenwood KFC-6808C ($89.99)

Also, if you notice, the amplifier is two ways while the speaker is three way... that'll be a problem won't it? Any suggestions for the speakers?

it wont be a a problem at all..

the amp you are getting is a "2-channel" amp,not two way... so basically, it sends out 2 signals, left and right...

Your speakers are 3 ways, which means taht they contain threee different drivers to produce 3 different frequency ranges.

Speakers like this get teh power from one channel (either left or right) and the power automatically goes to all of the drivers, they will work very well, enjoy them!

What kind of music do you listen to?

Regardless, i reccomend that you buy a subwoofer and at least a 100w mono amp. Once you listen to your music with bass, you'll wonder how you lived without it.
