Final Thoughts on HU selections

This is my first ever aftermarket audio experience, so like any new adventure I have read read and read so more....car audio is a big read btw.

I am wanting to start slow, but give myself some room to grow. I am wanting a good quality unit and the ability to add additional pieces to my car as I get money and do more reading. I am not particular to any brand other than I know go name brand and stick to the top of the unit selections.

Right now I am considering the units below and I am pretty sure I will go with the Pioneer, but mainly just wanted to know if there are some other units that I might need to consider. I feel safe saying the three I have picked are all good units, but just my newness to car audio has me seconded guessing.

Pioneer DEH-P7200HD

Sony CDX-GT740UI

Sony CDX-GT700HD

Any help with starting out would be most appreciated.

I dont know too much about headunits but I know you want to stay away from sony

every car Ive been in thats had a sony headunit after about 30 volume on it the subs would pop or make a noise with every volume click,, plus the anoyying beeps everytime you shut the car off...

I know they are a good brand, but beyond that no...I am new to this. Thanks for the suggestion and I will look up the 345U.
