Filtering Out The Lows

I am going to but a sub and amp (don't ask what make you will only laugh) and as such I don't need my co-ax speakers to play the lows.

How would would i filter out the lows? A X over I guess??

The only thing is I have 4 speakers and would like to keep my left/right front/rear fader ability (my speakers are off the HU). Would I need to but 4 X overs?

What would you reckon a good (or convinent) frequency would be to cut off?

check to see if your headunit has a crossover. if not youll need to buy an external one.

u can get bass blockers real cheap, they are made by stinger and you can choose different ones for blockin different freq.
