Filter Bass in Speakers

I just installed a Rockford Fosgate P2 subwoofer into my Ford Ranger. I like to turn up the bass on my cd deck for the sub but i don't want to blow my other speakers. Is there any way i can filter the bass coming into those speakers so that they don't hit with the bass?

what kind of hu do you have? does it have a filter that lets you control the subwoofer?

i'm not sure wat a hu is... but i have a planet audio 200 watt amp hooked up to the sub

Head Unit, deck, etc = HU

If you are still running the speakers off your head unit or dont have them amped, then these will do you wonders:

I've used them, they work very well on non-ampd speakers.

You would want an 100hz filter, since you are definatly not sending crazy power to your speakers.
