Filing claim with DHL??

Thats right bishes...
Ok, here is the story. I traded someone and sent the package through DHL. Its been 3 weeks now, and they cant find the package. If they cant, then tomorrow i file a claim to get money back since they automatically insure for 100 bucks. My question is how do i prove how much the item was worth? Or do they just give me the 100 bucks? I mean, this was a trade, so there was no "purchase" that i can show them. Does it go on estimated cost? Or going rate? Or can i show them the receipt from when i bought the item at the beginnniing of the year?

Basically i need to know what to expect and what i need to say.

They will want the receipt from the beginning of the year that shows your purchase price for the item.

I'm dealing with the same shit from UPS. They lost 1 of 4 rims I sent. How the **** can you lose an 80lb 22" rim?
Seriously. This was a 65lb subwoofer box. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

Exact same things happened to one of my boxes and DHL... around 140 lbs and 6 cubes, NET. They lost it. Since it was uninsured, you will only get $100. Should have paid little extra for insurance //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

dhl customer service has been better then fedex or ups for me in the past, they lost some JL Subs once of mine and ended up finding them but ruined one then paid for it since it was insured. They are decent just talk with them and they will really try to track it down before payin the money...

Yes, they refunded my shipping. Just call customer service and explain it to them, they will help you out. DHL customer service is very good.
