the same thing happened to me but i kept it to pms and we got it sorted out in a night or two...

ive dealt with both fedex and ups about this bs a bunch of times. The way it was packed, you wont get anything...the seller will be liable. The most ive ever got was a $100 from ups about 6 months after they did ~$450 worth of damage. Theyre crooks, i dont even bother insuring anything at this point and will not recieve anything from ups anymore.

All i can say is, pack that box like you would have before they see it...and DO NOT let them take it.

^^ That's what I'm fearing. Packing or not, the box WAS small. You can't fit much packing in the box anyway even if you wanted to. I KNEW something was up because they both went out in the same shipment, but this one got "lost" and came a day late. Coincidence? I don't believe so.

To be honest from what I have delt with there gona say that it is the box and not cover it. I had a box show up in much worse condition with 2 subs in it and they were broken from ebay. They said the boxs were not damaged enough to cause the type of damage on the woofers. That is the end of that.
