Figuring out which is + and -?

Hey guys, Yesterday I accidently ripped my speaker wire connections out of the door. Im trying to figure out which is neg and pos? Looking at my manuals the wire colors do not match at all.

I have a really good DMM. Could I use that? What settings?

Please help!

It won't make much of a difference, hook it up one way and if it sounds funny hook it up the other way.

I could also use the excursion vs. the other side that wasn't mixed up...im guessing.

Tony is right. One way it will either be in phase or out of phase. One will sound right, one will sound not so right.

Neither will hurt anything except imaging will suffer if the phasing is set incorrectly.

You are the man! Guess im a lazy bastard? But I figured out the crackling noise. Turns out the middle tweeter from my inifinty set doesn't work will with the CDT's.

??? What are you using for a crossover?

You could just be blowing it out if it's not x'ing it correctly

CDT's. The 3rd tweet worked fine with the infinity crossover's. I immediately knew there was something amiss. Got it working now and checked all the wiring.
