Anyone just make fiberglass crap to make it???

I think I'm gonna start foolin around in the garage and makin stuff just for fun and for Practice...

I wo't be ready to start on my sytem for a few months, so I figure might as well play..

It really is a good thing to practice first before you get at a big project.

You'll get the feel for it, and maybe even pick up on a few tips that'll help you in the end.

Who knows, maybe you'll pick up on it quick and really enjoy it. Then you can start doing custom panels or whatever in your car that doesn't require your stereo to get done.

Yea I wanna learn how to make some door pannels for my Blazer.. I want 2 6.5"s in each door and a tweeter or two...

Anyone ever check out Glassmans sites???

Heres one of them http://glswrkz.tripod.com/

He also has a yahoo group thats got tons of pics of projects,,,

Practicing before doing the actual project is a very good idea.....it lets you get familiar with the process. You'll figure out how big of a batch you are comfortable working with, figure out which brush techniques work the best for you, learn how to work out air bubbles, etc. etc. I built 2 practice bases for my kicks before doing the final one, and it made the job a lot easier for me.

Remember this...

Don't get pissed when you find out that what you spent so many hours on isn't right because with fiberglass you can just add more and fix it......
