Fiberglassed Mold Question

I got my mold popped and trimmed and everything is good. I forgot to lay my carpet down when i glassed the mold. I could lay carpet down but the mold wont fit. I could start over but that is money i dont have. I think that im going to cut out the carpet where it is needed that is fine, no problem. But when the sub hits and the glass rubs directly against the metal flooring i dunno what will happen. I thought i could put a thin but effective coat of liquid deadener on it and this would solve my problem. While on the subject of this can u spray or paint the deadener inside/outside the fiberglass enclosure? Thanks for advice on my lil jam here.

I can't answer that. I can't see what you've done. Is it the tire well in the trunk? If so you probably will be fine. If you're that worried, through a layer of liquid deadener inside the enclosure.

What exactly is it you're worried about? It looks like that takes up quite a bit of space. With the weight of the box, you shouldn't have any problems.
