fiberglass question

is 4sq. yards of fiberglass enough to make a dual 12 box with??

that depends on the weight of the glass, how much of the box is glass...

I assume your using felt first.

If it is a typical box with the one full side of MDF, and your using felt first, I would say more than likely yes.

the only thing that will be fiberglass is the baffle and front so so 4 outa the 6 sides are mdf. and yes i will use fleece first then soak it with resin then do two layers of glass, then two more layers of glass, then sand it, then cover with filler/resin and sand than real good, then prime then paint it

2 layers of 5oz woven mat is a lot different than 2 layers of 15oz stitched biaxxial mat. Fleece doesn't really add a whole lot of strength. It's used to form the shape, then have glass laminated onto it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
