Fiberglass dash

Do anyone knows how to fiberglass the dash... Meaning you know how a box caprice is if i was to fiberglass the dash do i just lay the fiberglass on the dash like and normal job or there anything different

If you do that, you might end up with adheasion problems and then it being too big to go back in easily.

 

I suggest stripping it down and then starting from there.

 

I don't have pics of the box caprice I did, but I do have pics of a Cutlass (green) and a Monte Carlo (primed) dash I did.

 

Both were stripped down, gauge panels remade and then 'glassed.

I get the feeling that car wasn't intended to be driven much.

Both of those were hydro hopper show cars.

 

I have a Regal (G body) in my shop right now that is for the same guy with the green car.

It will be his daily driver and will have vents incorperated.

 

If I think about it, I'll do a build thread here.

But it is the same basic thing. Just cut in new vents and attach them to the ducting.

 

 

 

I also searched my computer and can not find the Caprice dash pics.

They are Autometer gauges and I usually get them from Summit or Jegs.

 

Youy can find them on sale some times.

well i dont see any vents so no need for an ac/heater switch.
