Fiberglass Console wit 12" Type X and Mrd1005...Ported or Sealed???

Hey,

I just bought a Alpine Type X 12 and a MRD-1005 Alpine amp for it. Sold my 2 old(2004) 12" type r's and hifonics brutus because I wanted to buy something comparable but take up a bit less space. I have a regular cab 1999 F150 with captains chairs and I am in the process of building/fiberglassing a center console and I love my bass tight and clean, but also sometimes wish i could pound out those deeper tones. My old 12's were sealed then I changed to ported and I honestly couldnt decide what I liked better. I have ALOT of room to work with. Any help guys on what I should do and what size port etc. How do you like your 12" type X? Let me know
