i just took a quick look at them and they have a neat price tag for the amount of power they say they put out. anyone have opinions/experience with these subs?

I havent used that line specifically but if its anything like their other lines im sure they wont fail to perform.

i'm sure it's a nice sub,everything scott makes is bad ***.you realize that Fi is just the lower line of ascendant ,just like audioque is to dd

Fi is not the lower line to Ascendant. Fi is the custom built to order models sold direct, Ascendant is the set models for dealer networks. The Fi X is an excellent driver for the money.

Its the same as the Ascendant Assassin, which Ive done some things with. I designed a box for a friend of mine, 4 12" Assassins on 1200w. Would do a legit hairtrick with the door open.
