fi vs dd

i am having trouble deciding on what to get. i have a U.S. Amps XT-1600.2. It will either be a dd1508 or a fi Q 12. let me know what you think

WE cant tell you the answer, to many variables, not to mention comparing an 8 to a 12 isnt very fair......perhaps you should thing about somthing more along the lines of DD 2512 or 3512 vs FI Q its a better comparison and makes more since.....with that power I think the Q would be louder, but thats almost a given!!

Two different kinds of subs. While the DD lineup has pretty decent SQ and can be really good in a few applications, it doesnt really compare to a "SQ" sub like the Q. Its like apples to oranges.

the 2500s will have as much if not more output than the Q and they sound great as well... with 1200 the 2500 will out do both woofers no doubt..

Q based surface area.I believe the Q is the sq line up so cheack out the DD9100 for a better comparison(Or u could just get a Mag D2).I have yet to hear a DD sub 10-9900s that didnt have good sq in a daily setup.

X2 I think the 2500 is the best all around sub from DD,affordable,loud as shit,underrated and sounds great.

its sad most people base there experiences on the 9500s in large high tuned boxes..

I really like the 2500s my self...
