i mean i have two 10w3v3's on a hifonics 1606 and i want more bump than that. will there be a significant difference in the loudness of the 2 12" se's

FI doesnt necessarily need to be ported does it...i no RE does...and i want loud and clean.

Yes, both need ported box.

What kind of wattage you looking for?

If your not gonna give the BL's 1000-1500rms a peice, there not worth it.

Same goes with the SX.

You could always get a SSD with copper coil.

SSD is similar to the SX to be honest.

Bl is a little above the SX. As far as motor/coil goes.

I could not say, I have never used JL. I have used the RE SE for long time and love them, they get loud and sound good.

going from 10's to 12's you should notice a little bit louder even on same power since u r getting more cone area and 12's to me seem to hit lower as well of course

I ran 2 12" SEs on 1500watts and they did fine, they were loud and clean.

SE or SSD would work well with that amp.

i just dont wanna go with the se's then regret not getting the Sx's down the road, i no the sx will be louder but if theres not a very big difference i will be ok with that.

yea im gunna make the box i have now work but will eventually build a ported box...the only thing is that on my hifonics 1606 at 2 ohm im only getting 1100 rms

With that amp i would recommend the SEs really. thats not enough power for SXs or BLs
