Fi - Sundown

how do you know its the mosfets?
Talked to Chris at dbr.... when just connecting the positive and negative power wires to the amp without turning it on and with everything unhooked it started smoking and starting ******* up tons of power.

5/8 particle board ftmfl
Will be completing a new box pretty soon that will most likely be smaller... and a little shorter and wider that will hopefully have a full slot port all the way across the bottom.

You forgot to to say and made of ALLLLL MDF!

I got everything in and everything set right. This crap is amazing, never heard anything this amazing in my life. Me and my friends just went to red light after red light scaring people haha..... the lows are AMAZING. Better than any sub I have ever heard.... I am NOT taking my 18s out for anything I will put the 12's in my boat or something.

Only thing is subs are getting pretty warm and the amp is very warm....

Thanks fi and sundown audio!

It is dark out.... will take pics later.

Oh and my particle box has NOT even cracked yet haha. That is all the way up... actually it could do more but that is all my ears can take.

Next on the list is 2 more yellow tops because I am having light dimming, a rockford amp with kappa highs/mids. And lastly a h.o. alt.

Particle board box is still holding up, no cracks or signs of stress amazingly....... amazing how much the output of the amp changes as the voltage changes. Was parked and had everything going at a moderate rate voltage was about 12.5-13 then when I started going voltage went to about 14.5 volts or so and there was a definite audible change in output.

Basically done with this build for now... need to hide the wires, build a battery box. Build an enclosed angled amp rack with plexiglass top and fans.

Agree 100% Dropped the vice grips while tightening one of the battery bolts and talking about some sparks lol. I also need to add a fuse between the first battery and where the wire goes below the vehicle towards the front.

And thanks for everything Jacob, that new amp has worked perfect so far no complaints. Will be buying some more from you soon.
