I fixed the wire. Anyone want to recommend either rubber matting or expending foam? Which one works best....

Made a battery / amp holder. Organized things pretty good. Still needs some touching up. My only drill that accepted over sized bits went out so I was not able to drill the holes for my fans, just running it without the plexiglass top for now..... actually used adhesive glue for this one. On my box for the 18's I was trying some new stuff that you roll on not the spray kind and I could NOT get it to work for anything. Particle board box is still holding up, no cracks or signs of stress amazingly....... amazing how much the output of the amp changes as the voltage changes. Was parked and had everything going at a moderate rate voltage was about 12.5-13 then when I started going voltage went to about 14.5 volts or so and there was a definite audible change in output.

very nice build need to clean up a few things but still nice. ps push the haul botton on the shifter and ur alt will charge at a higher volts and keep it at higher volts it in ur manual . sorry if any typos on cell

They are great... plenty of room. And how the seats fold up makes it oh so easy to work on. Also under the second row seats all that carpet is just a big removable mat, makes it really easy to run wires and all.

If it works the same as every other tow/haul mode on the planet it only delivers a higher voltage because it keeps the ****** out of OD, thus raising RPM.

Say bye-bye to MPG!

Yeah it did not work for me at all with the tow mode.... there is some feature that they implemented and is on this model that makes the alternator only create current when current is being used to save gas mialage... forgot what they called it. But basically when I have this thing running at low output the alternator stops putting out power which drops my voltage to the same if my truck was off... around 12.5 (I can't get these yellow tops to train up at all). So that explains why voltage is so up and down....

I ended up just buying a new 0 gauge terminal for that front battery..... it had slipped out and I tried expanding it then clamping it again but it didn't work. I have a video I made with my blackberry but don't even feel like messing with it to upload.

But thanks for all the positive feedback. I will be making a box for my bl 12's this weekend. They've been sitting around for a while now so I figured I would try em out.

Also, I ended up adding a tsunami 5 farad cap.... just for looks honestly. Tells me voltage and lights up the back of the truck real nice. I also got a great deal at the local government owned Circut City.

Am also going to be moving one of my batteries from the back of the truck to under the hood as there is a spare batt. holder on all 07 / 08 models idk about 09. And it is a little cramped up in the back, figured I'd try to gain some extra space for the 100.4.
